Drum Sander

The drum sander is not a thickness planer! The drum sander is designed to remove very small amounts of material. NEVER remove more than 1/64" or a maximum of 1/32" of material in a single pass. If too much material is removed at one time the sanding belt on the drum will become clogged and the belt will be destroyed.
