# 02/10/2026

**February 2026 Officers’ Meeting RCL NFP**

**Treasurer report:**

* Put 5k from Payal into the bank.
* CD has been renewed, will evaluate in May.

**Old Business:**

* Mike and Bill have met with the candidates and have decided to extend the stipend position to\
  Jeep.
* ComiCon: WE got the super rare FunkoPop, so that will be posted to boost interest. We need\
  people to help load in on Friday. Willow and Mary will take care of Sunday classes, Jeep, Josh,\
  and Bill will teach Saturday classes.
* Engineering day: 2/22, working on getting additional space. Getting things from Josh to show\
  how 3D printing can be applied to toys. Will be having Avanti’s.
* Still waiting for Eufy and accompanying supplies.
* Ignite: Rec’d email for early registration so we are already signed up. Have requested same\
  space as last year.
* New idea: If you come for a tour the Thursday or 2nd Thursday after one of our events, you get\
  entered in a drawing for a free month.
* HorrorCon: Worth it? Would need additional support from other members. It can’t always be the\
  same people. Will continue the conversation at subsequent meetings.

**New Business:**

* New embroidery machine has been ordered. Research and testimonies support Other brand,\
  not Brother. New machine will need 27 inches.
* Charlie has taken over the GoDaddy.
* Once we have more informed interest on the CNC, we will go from there when it comes to\
  purchasing another.
* UV laser: Still waiting on update from company. Josh has a UV laser in his space and will be\
  doing a demo on a Thursday night. Once members see what it can do, we will decide on it, will\
  be 5k.
* The Glow Forge is an asset - easy/immediate to use, but can have software bugs. Will\
  upgrade/repair.
* For the next 2 events, 6 tours is the definition of a successful event.
* Heather reached out to Rick in the Morning - Talk about it Tuesdays. He meets with different\
  groups to talk about them working on getting featured, want to go before PeoriaCon. A radio\
  interview would happen on a Tuesday morning. Looking at Jeep, Heather, and possibly Josh or\
  Bill to do the live broadcast.
* Charlie will be working on grants to help pay for classes and equipment.
* New item on Wishlist - request for Eastwood Elite cordless TIG welder/grinder. $90.
* It has been brought to Jeep and Bill’s attention that more space in our building may become\
  available in the far back corner. Josh’s warehouse/Lightburn may move and we could negotiate\
  with Todd. We are currently already paying for gas/electric. It will be $890 for 1100sq ft extra\
  space. It is a mirror image of current shop. No paint booth.
* Jen and Javier will have DTFs available soon - RCL theme. $15/seet.
