**July 2026 Members’ meeting RCL NFP**

**Treasurer report:**

* 124 active members, over 1.6k for the month. CD was renewed for 8 months.\
  Working with insurance to figure out adjustment for expansion.

**Old Business:**

* IGNITE: NO FOOD OR WATER this year. Security is doing a clear bag policy this year. 8/7 2p\
  meet up at RCL for load in/out. Saturday night we will load up and come here with food and\
  drink. Please come for at least 4 hours and answer questions. We still have Pinewood Derby\
  blocks left over, PLEASE come make a car for the event to replace the damaged ones we have.
* Repair Cafe, 9/12: Please volunteer to come chaperone or do a display.
* Charcuterie board class is postponed by at least a month, probably November. Member only for\
  the first round, cost $100/125.
* Sewing class: Wednesday night, 3 slots available, members $15, others $20. 5-6 per class.
* If you are interested in giving a class on anything, please let us know, WE WANT MORE\
  CLASSES!
* PeoriaCon: Very successful event. We will be doing again, well worth our time.
* Officer nominations: Due by 9/30. List available with Bill. To run, you have to have been a\
  member for 6 months, as head of house or full single membership. You can be nominated as\
  Starving, but you have to upgrade to full to take position.
* If you have big ticket items, please let mike and Bill know for ballot.
* Until A/C is fixed, we are not doing game night, and PLEASE DO NOT light the forge.
* November annual party: most likely the 2nd week, details to come.
* UV Laser is up and running, thank you Jeep! Crystals are NOT tested, please give it a little\
  more time. Small dot size. Does require training before use.
* Expansion: Taking possession of the new area 8/1. $1000 more per month. Please give us your\
  layout ideas in Slack. All metalworking stuff and 3D printers will move. We will also move\
  storage space with marked off areas. Allowed to store things and rent space.
* We are seeking donations for incidentals and expenses. Please donate or encourage eplyer\
  donations (CAT match).
* New entrance and exit are not considered primary. Please continue to use the main entrance\
  and exit we have been using.

**New Business:**

* Thank you Kevin and Dunlap Schools for the new SmartBoard.
* NO MORE water bottles - we have a machine for Cold and Hot water, as well as ice. Please\
  bring your own receptacle. Cups are available for purchase.
